that's right! it's research traditional methods of moroccan architecture, which follow strict mathematic structures and formulas to create stunning tilework and arches, often also utilizing a special form of clay endemic to morocco famed for its sculptural qualities which are difficult and even impossible to reproduce in other regions! additionally, the cultural significance of the various motifs and colors used throughout moroccan architecture, both in religious and in secular buildings, are distinct and highly formalized, honed over many h

FUCK YEAH MOROCCAN ARCHITECTURE

have you looked into muqarnas yet?

yes! i was actually referencing muqarnas when speaking about the clay! morocco's carved clay and plaster muqarnas are famous for their intricacy and detailed fretting!

Sometimes muqarnas are carved wood. Regardless, Moroccan architecture is ABSOLUTELY BONKERS.

Me deciding to research traditional methods of morrocan architecture

Something major happening in women's hockey. Both the PWHPA and PHF have calls momentarily. I'm told it's not a merger in the traditional sense but there is definitely something happening between both groups. Perhaps some type of acquisition? Not sure. We'll know more soon — Jeff Marek (@JeffMarek) June 29, 2023ALT
The PHF athletes have just been told that Billie Jean King Enterprises and the Mark Walter Group have purchased the PHF. — Jeff Marek (@JeffMarek) June 30, 2023ALT
The PHF athletes will play with the athletes in the PWHPA under one roof in the new league we've been talking about for over a year now. — Jeff Marek (@JeffMarek) June 30, 2023ALT
From what I’ve heard, all contracts have been VOIDED. Season starts in January, no word so far on teams. — PHF Report (@PhfReport) June 30, 2023ALT

oh boy...

there are almost certainly PHF players who had contracts in the PHF who will no longer be tendered them in the new league.

yikes!

On the PWHPA + PHF news: some PHF players and agents tried to fight against league contract terms that allowed clubs to terminate contracts for convenience at any time. This is why that mattered….. — Shayna (@hayyyshayyy) June 30, 2023ALT
Also adding: PHF players learned of the news of their league being bought with the public and were not notified ahead of time — Shayna (@hayyyshayyy) June 30, 2023ALT

Being told that the PHF will be the "foundation" for any new league. Not officially confirmed, but it's why this is being termed an acquisition, not necessarily a merger. — Ian Kennedy (@IanKennedyCK) June 30, 2023ALT
Breaking 🚨 PHF has been bought out. Players are learning this news as it leaks. Source tells me there will only be six teams with rosters of 23 players each in the newly combined league. Women’s hockey world is once again being shaken down https://t.co/RXsa5EKECd — Rachel Hopmayer (@rachelhopmayer) June 30, 2023ALT
Appears that PWHPA players will have priority access to contracts in the new league, and PHF players will be treated like late-summer UFA additions — Shayna (@hayyyshayyy) June 30, 2023ALT

i fucking hateeee it here

I just had the unfortunate happen and got block from commenting and leaving kudos by an author. I was confused because all I left in my comments was some emoji about have the fic made me feel (🥺👏🥰) Now I feel like I did something wrong. For the first time, even though I was looking forward to reading rest of the works they have up, I feel discouraged in read an author's work.

So I am asking fanfic Writers is it ok to leave emoji comments on your works?

Yes, I love any comments

It's fine they don't bother me

Not the best, but I know it's hard to express with words sometimes

No, I hate them

I am not a writer, but I want to see the answer

Sorry this happened to you, OP. A comment is a comment, folks. As long as there is no unwanted criticism (yes, I do NOT want a comment to say there are grammar mistakes, if you need to tell me in a private message, for heavens sake), that's totally fine. Emojis are a form of communication. Essentially, they're pictograms. And pictograms are used to transport information beyond language. It's really clever, because most of the time in most parts of the world, people will understand your little smiling emoji. So, don't feel bad. It's a comment, and most writers will understand.

Hey yo remember back in 2016 when the Flintstones came out with a gritty realistic reboot comic?
